Marvin Ray Shelton, 75, a resident of Gassville passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012, at his residence.

He was born June 15, 1936, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late Dillard and Ethel Mae Pennington Shelton.  Mr. Shelton was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He married Judith Lee Highfill on September 7, 1996 in Mulvane, Kansas.  Mr. Shelton relocated to Gassville from Mulvane, Kansas in 1998.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Judith Shelton of Gassville; five children and their spouses; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Hughes officiating.  Burial will be private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
