Kathryn loved to be outside in the fresh air. She loved to work in her garden when she was able. She used to sit outside of an evening during spring and summer so she could enjoy all of nature’s fragrant flowers.

Kathryn was a homemaker all of her adult life. She chose to be a homemaker so she could spend as much time as she possibly could with her children as they were growing up and later with her grandchildren. She absolutely loved and adored her family.

Kathryn was an all around wonderful person; wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.

To those who knew Kathy, you are truly blessed. Those who didn’t never had the chance to meet a kind, gentle, caring, loving lady. Kathy treated me and my brothers like we were her own. I love you Kathy and you will always be a wonderful step-mom to me and my brothers. Please keep looking after us all as you have done for many years. Please keep that ear to ear smile! I love you and may you rest peacefully! Love, Misti Rae

The family respectfully requests that donations be made to Hospice Compassus, in her honor, in lieu of floral arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.evansfh.com.
