Mrs. Polston died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 17, 1946, at Gainesville, Missouri, to J. R. Laxton and Irene Roberts Laxton. On November 8, 1998, she was married in the State of Colorado, to David Polston. She had owned and operated Brenda’s Café. Mrs. Polston was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, David Polston, of the family home; nine children, Lynette Adams, West Plains, Missouri, Waynette Belcher, husband, Loyal, West Plains, Missouri, Thomas Hensley, wife, Leann, Moody, Missouri, Gala Stout, husband, Jim, West Plains, Missouri, Leah Hensley, Mt. Vernon, Missouri, David Hensley, fiancée Tracey, West Plains, Missouri, Patricia Rowe, Rover, Idaho, David Polston, wife, Cheri, Fairbanks, Alaska and John Polston, Big Lake, Alaska; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; one brother, Don Laxton, wife, Debra, Caulfield, Missouri; and one sister, Connie White, Caulfield, Missouri.
Her parents and one brother, Jim Laxton, precede her in death.
