Barbara Marie Olivo, 63, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 31, 1950, in Searcy, Arkansas to Grady and Marie (McKenzie) Howerton. Barbara has lived in Mountain Home for 40 years and relocated from Little Rock. She was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mountain Home and was very strong in her faith. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lou Olivo; a son, Anthony Olivo and a brother, Steve Howerton.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Ashley Olivo of Mountain Home and Donny and Ashleigh Olivo of Southaven, Mississippi; three daughters and sons-in-law, Stephani and Jordan Florko of Clearwater, Florida, Sherri and Frank Saling of Mountain Home and Amber and Nate Wright of Mountain Home; numerous brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren and expecting one great grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mountain Home with Brother Tim Jones officiating.
