Donald Alan (Skip) Durick, age 59, died August 28, 2013 at home in Elk Creek, MO. He was born November 8, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Donald and Donna (Hoffman) Durick.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Cindy of Elk Creek, MO, his daughter Stephanie and son Jeremy of Kenosha, Wisconsin;
four grandchildren, Nautica, Jayden, Amira and Jessie. Other survivors include a sister Dulce of New York and a sister Lawrie of Wisconsin.
Skip grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He met and married Cindy in 1975 in Wisconsin, where they raised their family and worked until retiring to their hobby farm in Elk Creek, MO.
Skip had worked the majority of his career as a Maintenance Engineer and then site coordinator at St. Catherine’s Hospital/United Hospital Systems in Kenosha, WI.
A memorial service was in the Houston United Methodist Church where Skip and his wife are members. The service was at 10:00 on August 30, 2013. Pastor Tom Tomlinson and Beth Duckworth officiated. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Houston United Methodist Church. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
