Wallace Martin Romines, age 84, son of Oliden and Jane (Bellomy) Romines, was born on March 21, 1929 in Henry County, Missouri. He departed this life on August 19, 2013 at his residence in Houston, MO following a long illness.

Services were held Thursday August 22, 2013 at the Houston First Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Delcour officiating. Pallbearers were; Chris Romines, Chad Elledge, Tristan Cooper, Aaron Scheets, Ryan Hosna and David Suddeth. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.

Wallace was a veteran of the Korean War and later spent 30 years working for Civil Service.

He was united in marriage to Mary Elen Snyder on June 18, 1955. Four children were born to this union.

Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Iris Bell and four brothers; Ray, Lowell, Marion and David.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary of the home, one daughter, Cathy, two sons, Roger and wife Gloria and Randy and wife Billie. Wallace is also survived by a nephew Roy and niece Shirley who were as close as his own children, two sisters, Mingies Robertson and Mary Ann Snyder, six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Wallace was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend and neighbor. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
