A memorial service for Agnes Clarissa McBride, 89, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Immanuel Baptist Church, N Highway, Pomona, Missouri.

Mrs. McBride died at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born January 20, 1924, at Broken Bow, Nebraska, to Aaron Detrice Nice and Doris Pearl Overman Nice. On October 15, 1938, she was married at Prosser, Washington, to Richard Edwin Aubuchon, who preceded her in death and on July 3, 1979, she was married at Guymon, Oklahoma, to Marion Benjamin McBride, who preceded her in death on July 21, 2002. Before her retirement, Mrs. McBride was employed with the International Shoe Factory. She enjoyed gardening and canning produce, crocheting and knitting Afghans, giving many away to family and friends. She loved fishing, animals and watching the birds in her yard. She was proud of the many generations of her family. Mrs. McBride was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Pomona, Missouri.

She is survived by eight children, Agnes “Toe” Patterson, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, Richard E. Aubuchon, wife, Judy, Woodland, California, George E. Aubuchon, West Plains, Missouri, Aaron H. Aubuchon, Castle Rock, California, Candy A. Collins, husband, Earl, Boise, Idaho, Claudia F. Smith, husband, Kelley, Shreveport, Louisiana, Charley S. Aubuchon, West Plains, Missouri, and Peggy Lee Aubuchon, and Bob Mock, Theodosia, Missouri; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; twenty-one great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husbands, one son, Donald Zeno Aubuchon, two great-grandsons, one brother, James Nice, and one sister, Harriet Mazur, precede her in death.

A private interment will be held at a later date at Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or West Plains Humane Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
