G.H. “Bud” Bryant, 85, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Monday, December 26, 2011, in Mountain Home.
He was born June 17, 1926, in Mountain Home to Guy Ebert and Della Weber Bryant. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Mr. Bryant married Louise Deathridge on October 4, 1954 in Mountain Home. He owned Bryant Pump Service for 23 years and was a member of the United Church of Christ of Harrison. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 49 years, Louise Deathridge Bryant; a daughter, Kimberly Bryant; a brother, J.W. Bryant and a sister, Sterlene Burris.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Bryant of Mountain Home; a grandson, Sean Bryant of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Paul Deathridge of Mountain Home, Howard and Carol Deathridge of Oklahoma and Junior and Judy Deathridge of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Billie and David Larson and Chloetta Abramovitz, all of Mountain Home and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are private and under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or a charity of the donor’s choice.
