William Stanley “Bill” Foster was born January 31, 1950 in Teresita, Missouri, the son of George Albert and Mary Lou (Provow) Foster. He departed this life on January 27, 2012 at his home in Teresita, Missouri at the age of 61 years.

Bill was united in marriage to Lacreta May Reeves on May 24, 1969 in Mountain View, Missouri. To this union three children were born, Lucretia, Stanley, and Diane.

Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernie and Minnie Foster and Stanley and Helen Provow; father, George Foster; a nephew, Ben McClellan; and a grandchild, Levi Foster.

Survivors include his wife, Lacreta, of the home; children, Lucretia Weng and husband, Joe, Fort Collins, CO, Stanley Foster and wife, Suwaba, Peace Valley, MO, and Diane Curtis and husband, Mike, Birch Tree, MO; his mother, Mary Lou Foster, Birch Tree; grandchildren, Cody and ShyAnne Weng, Cordale and Gabe Foster, and Harley and Tabitha Curtis; siblings, Alice Hoffman and husband, Larry, Republic, MO, David Foster and and wife, Ellen, Birch Tree, Mary Kaye Renshaw and husband, Frankie, of Birch Tree, Linda McClellan of Birch Tree, and Carol Dow and husband, Mike, Birch Tree.

Bill was a farmer and a logger. He had worked for Rick Roberts for 32 years.

Bill was saved at an early age. He was a member of Mountain View Christian Church.

Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He loved his grandchildren dearly. He loved his horses, hunting, and life. He had many friends and will be greatly missed.

The memory of his laugh will be cherished.
