Wayne Caststeel, 46, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Mountain Home.

He was born July 30, 1966, in Mountain Home to Everett Louis and Frieda Mae Sanders Caststeel. Wayne was an expert handyman just like his father. He loved spending time with family and friends and watching his nephew, Sky-Lar play baseball. Wayne had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed camping and attended True Connections Church in Gassville. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Everett Caststeel.

Survivors include his mother, Frieda Caststeel of Mountain Home; a sister, Kimmie Culver of Mountain Home; his precious nephew, Sky-Lar Culvar of Mountain Home; his special cousin, Richard McClellan of Mountain Home; five cousins, Cody, Amber, Jayson, Alex and Lee; a host of aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 22, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Childress officiating. Burial will be immediately following in the Gassville Cemetery under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard McClellan, Kelly Henson, Jerry Biggers, Chris Caststeel, Hayden Hall, Jayson Fisk and Larry Sanders.

Memorials may be made to the family of Wayne Caststeel.
