Lula Vaughn (Lou) Taylor, 81 of Hardy, Arkansas died on Tuesday, at her home. Born Thursday, June 18, 1931 in Monette, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Joe Slayton and the late Barbara Stevens Slayton.

Survived by her sons, Jerry Taylor and Mike Taylor, daughters, Carol Barton, Kathy Gore and Rhonda Taylor, brothers, Bill Slayton, Richard Slayton, David Slayton and Danny Slayton, sisters, Elizabeth Bradford and Sally Powers; 8 grand children; 10 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Ed Slayton and Robert Lee Slayton, sisters, Barbara Jo King and Mary Edith Minor.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Ward Street Church of Christ. Interment will be in Baker Cemetery, Ozark Acres, AR.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, at Heath Funeral Home, Highland, Arkansas.
