She was born September 11, 1952, in Paragould to Huey Albert and Betty Ruth Wright Wilhite. Linda relocated to Gassville in 1975 from Corcoran, California. She married Vernis Lee Miller on June 1, 1985, in Harrison. Linda was a long time employee of Wal-Mart in Mountain Home. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda loved animals and most importantly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Vernis Miller of Gassville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kelly and Brad Morris of Mountain Home and Stephanie Miller and her fiancé, Tyler Baumgardner of Gassville; her mother, Betty Wilhite of Gassville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Hulen and Bev Wilhite of Mountain Home, Keith and Sandy Wilhite of Flippin and Farron and Angie Wilhite of Mountain Home; a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Darrell Fears of Midway; three grandchildren, A.J. and Kiley Morris and Hayden Miller; seven nieces and nephews, Brooke Young, Lindsay Newton, Jared, Justin, Jordan, Haley and Nick Wilhite and other relatives and many friends.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Norfork Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Hershel Conley officiating. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Dover, Everett Meis, Shad Meis, Rick McGuire, Pete Byrd and Mike Hood. Jordan Wilhite will serve as honorary pallbearer
Visitation is from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Norfork Lake Baptist Church.
