Maurice J.D. Hinkle, known as “Bob” or “Peewee”, 68, of Birch Tree, Missouri died July 20, 2012 at his home. He was born November 3, 1943 in Bruno, Missouri, the son of Hershel D. and Wanda Faye (Sitze) Hinkle.
Bob was united in marriage to Alice Ann Wellington on January 28, 2001 in Eminence, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Joan and Barbara.
Survivors include his wife, Ann, of the home; daughter, Connie and two grandsons of Waco, TX; stepdaughter Angie and two grandchildren, Matthew and Sierra, of Mesick, MI; two brothers, Michael Hinkle of Germany and Morgan “Corky” Hinkle of Houston, MO; and two sisters, Donna “Tiny” Hinkle of St. Louis, MO and Juanita Sue Luethle and husband, Ken, of High Ridge, MO.
Bob served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He worked as a gunsmith for many years and owned his own business.
