She was born April 17, 1947, in Redwing, Minnesota to the late Joe and Patsy Daeffler Sloan. Kandi was of the Catholic faith and she relocated to Mountain Home in 2001 from Fallon, Missouri. She loved the outdoors especially the lakes. Kandi was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Floyd Nuzum and a granddaughter, Aschlyn Laque.
Survivors include four sons, Albert Lovato of Denver, Colorado, Chris Lovato of Carlsbad, California, Bill Whicker of Layton, Utah and Bob Whicker of Illinois; a daughter, Schandra Hargrave of Mountain Home; two sisters, Rhonda Stock of Kansas City, Missouri and Randie Karl of Carlsbad, New Mexico; twelve grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
