John E. Roley, 82, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 14, 1929, in Warren, Minnesota to the late Emmit and Gerda Lindquist Roley. John was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. After his military service, John owned his own home construction business for over 40 years and relocated to Mountain Home ten years ago from South Haven, Minnesota. He believed Minnesota was God’s country until he moved to the Twin Lakes area, where he made many friends and lots of wonderful memories. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, John Roley, Jr. and four sisters.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Erliss and Terry Wagner of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and Pamela Fuhrman of Fargo, North Dakota; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Merton Roley and Marvin and Carol Roley; a sister, Phyllis Troska; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
