(West Plains) – The West Plains Opera House will host on Saturday what is believed to be the first actual opera performed in the building.

World-renowned tenor Michael Spyres and soprano Tara Stafford-Spyres will perform at 7 PM Saturday at the West Plains Opera House on the Square in Downtown West Plains. Tickets for the event are $12 in advance or $15 at the door, and can be purchased at Wild Vine in the Bradford Center, Ropers Saloon and Cafe 37, both on the Downtown Square. Tables for eight are also available for $80.
