(Mountain Home) – “A Storybook Christmas” is the theme of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Parade, which will take place Friday, December 7 at 6 PM, following the annual tree-lighting service and music on the downtown Mountain Home Square.

Chamber officials say line-up for the parade will be from 4:30 PM to 6 PM at the corner of Burnett and Buttercup. There will be no registration forms, and line-up instructions are available at the Chamber of Commerce office. Judging will take place as the floats enter onto Highway 5 from Hospital Drive. Floats will be judged under four categories: Civic, Commercial, Religious and Youth.

Chamber officials stress that Santa Claus will appear at the end of the parade, and urge parade participants to not throw candy from vehicles.
