(Hardy) – Sharp County Extension Homemakers will be holding a special fundraising event November 17 in the Old Hardy Gym, 203 School Street from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The theme for the event is “Fleas and Flour” – A flea market and bake sale in one, with items baked by Extension members, including jams; pies; cakes and other items.
Fleas and Flour will also have a silent auction with several nice items to bid on. Also, a book sale will be held in cooperation with Extension Homemakers and Highland Elks Lodge #2539. Profits from both will be used for community service projects.
Officials say membership is open to any Sharp County Extension Club and if you would like to attend a meeting as a guest, you are welcome to do so. For more information about Sharp County Extension and the Clubs call 870-994-7363.
