(Tecumseh) – Two people from West Plains were injured late Tuesday night after a one-vehicle accident in Tecumseh.

A report from the Highway Patrol states the accident happened at 9:58 PM on Highway 160, when the eastbound vehicle driven by 51-year-old Bonnie McCarley drove off-road, hit a highway sign, traveled down an embankment and then hit a tree.

The driver and 53-year-old Louise Gargione were both taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center by Ozark County EMS with minor injuries.
