(West Plains) – Teachers and students of the West Plains High School have created a food bank for their students who may be in need. Cindy Wright of the West Plains R-7 told us about the creation of “Food for Thought”:

Wright went on to tell us how food can be picked up, ensuring students that their involvement is secure and private:

Over the upcoming Thanksgiving break, it is possible that a given student could miss 18 meals during that school week, that would otherwise be provided by the school. So, Food for Thought is also providing Thanksgiving Baskets for students in need. Andi Haney, a student and member of DECA tells us about the baskets:
