(Little Rock) – Unemployment rates in north-central Arkansas have dropped, according to the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.
The state agency reported the unemployment rate in Baxter County was 7.2% in August down from 8.1% in July.
In Marion County, the August unemployment rate was 7.4%, compared to 8.5% in July.
The unemployment rate in Fulton County was 6.8% in August, down from 7.6% in July.
Statewide, the Arkansas unemployment rate for August was 7.3%, the same as July.
