(Baxter County) – Additional charges have been filed against a rural Baxter County man after he reportedly slapped his wife and shot at her.

32-year-old Travis Nibler was hit on August 24 with an additional felony charge of Terroristic Threatening, and his bond was raised from $25,000 to $75,000. Nibler was arrested August 22 on one felony charge of Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member and a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Battery after a domestic violence incident between Nibler and his wife August 22.

He will appear in Circuit Court on September 6 on the new charge.

Nibler is accused of slapping his wife, and shooting at his wife after she left the home to seek help.
