(West Plains) – A Willow Springs woman is accused of firing at an apartment complex over the weekend.
43-year-old Sylvia Berry was arrested Saturday afternoon after the Willow Springs Police Department was called to the scene of the Willow Springs Apartments on Highway 76, where Berry had allegedly fired a gun at the apartment complex and over the heads of a number of children before driving away in a green van.
Berry was found and brought in for questioning, which she reportedly refused. Later, Willow Springs Police Officer Bryan Jackson reported that Berry stated she “wished she was a better shot so she could kill the Castles”.
Berry was charged with Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and at report time, was held on $75,000 bond.
