(Licking) – Intercounty Electric Cooperative General Manager Dwayne Cartwright has announced that he will be leaving IECA after 16 years of service.
Cartwright will be stepping up to fill the executive position of the retiring general manager EE (Skip) Strickland of Berkeley Electric Cooperative in South Carolina.
Cartwright began his career as a Member Service Manager in April 1996, and was appointed the management position in March 2006.
Cartwright is a native of Dent County and graduated high school in Salem. He is also a graduate of Southwest Baptist University.
IECA serves 2,916 square miles covering Phelps, Dent and Texas Counties, and parts of seven other counties, and employs 116 residents in the area.
