(Doniphan) – A Ripley County company has begun improvements at Mark Twain National Forest’s temporarily closed Whitten Access.
Ozark Radio News spoke with Eleven Point District Manager Tim Bond, who said the improvements began on Monday:

Bond says that the contract to C&M Construction was $103,000, which was paid for in part, by the Secure Rural Schools Act funds:
