(Eminence) – A resident of St. Louis was seriously injured Friday afternoon after the motorcycle he was riding hit a rock off of Route 106 near Eminence.
51-year-old Kevin Hoormann was taken from the scene of the accident to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis by Air Evac.
The accident happened a half mile east of Eminence on Route 106 when Hoormann lost control of the bike and ran off of the right side of the road and hit a rock, ejecting Hoormann from the bike.
