(Houston) – The Texas County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that happened Wednesday morning.
Deputies responded to a 911 call Wednesday morning, and responded around 9:30 AM along with EMS to find a white male with a firearm wound to the head. The victim was air-lifted to a Springfield hospital.
Later that evening officers located a person of interest in the woods behind the scene of the shooting. At this time no other information has been released other then a notice that charges will be filed sometime Thursday evening.
