(West Plains) – A West Plains man is accused of attempting to coerce two underage girls into having sex with him.
61-year-old Wayne Welch was arrested last Wednesday and charged later that day with two counts of Enticement of a Child. Court documents state that in mid-July, Welch allegedly solicited two minors, identified in the documents as MS and KP, who were less than 15 years old. Welch is also accused of grabbing KP by the neck and forcing her on his lap.
Welch posted the $30,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court August 20.
