(Gainesville) – The Highway Patrol says that heavy rainfall caused an accident near Gainesville Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at 4:30 PM on Route W, 11 miles west of Gainesville, when the westbound vehicle driven by 18-year-old Jacob Madche of Ava ran off-road on a curve and overturned.
The driver was taken from the scene of the accident to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home with moderate injuries.
