(Willow Springs) – One person was injured Thursday after a two-vehicle accident in Douglas County.
The accident occurred on Route Z, two miles south of Route 14, when the southbound vehicle driven by 30-year-old Curtis Goodwin of Sparta, MO traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a vehicle parked on the side of the road. The vehicle continued off road and rolled into a group of trees, ejecting Goodwin from the vehicle.
He was taken from scene of the accident to Cox Hospital in Springfield by Cox Air Care.
