(Mountain Home) – A rural Mountain Home man has been charged with selling prescription drugs to undercover officers.

26-year-old Jason Biddle was arrested Wednesday afternoon for felony drug offenses. A press release from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office says that during April and May 2012, investigators with the Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, and Flippin Police Department were able to make controlled buys of a prescription pills from Biddle on three separate occasions. Each of these transactions was facilitated by use of cellular phones, and at least one of the transactions took place within the immediate vicinity of a church.

Investigators report they were able to make buys of 12 oxycodone hydrochloride pills for $360. Investigators then obtained a warrant for Biddle’s arrest, and later arrested him.

Biddle was held on $50,000, and will appear in Circuit Court on July 12.
