(Flippin) – A 27-year-old Flippin man was arrested late last week on burglary and fleeing charges.

Jeremy Price was arrested and charged with Felony Residential Burglary, Misdemeanor Driving on a Suspended License, Fleeing, Criminal Tresspassing, and Resisting Arrest.

A Flippin police officer reportedly saw Price July 7 operating a motor vehicle, and attempted to stop Price, knowing that his driver’s license was suspended. Price reportedly pulled into an area apartment complex and entered one of the apartments. A report from the Flippin Police Department says that the officer attempted to make contact with Price inside that apartment but learned that Price had gone into the attic area of the apartment. The officer went into the attic and observed that Price had knocked the firewalls dividing the apartments in that building out, making it possible for him to gain entry into a number of additional apartments in the complex.

Officers from the Flippin and Bull Shoals Police, along with the Arkansas State Police and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, entered into the attic area and located Price covering himself with insulation.

Bond for Price was set at $15,000. Price was on active parole supervision and parole authorities placed a no bond hold on Price. At the time of the release Price remains incarcerated at the Marion County Jail.
