(Gamaliel) – A resident of Midway was injured on Tuesday after a one-vehicle accident near Gamaliel.
Th accident happened at 11:20 AM on State Highway 101 near CR 806, when the northbound vehicle driven by 22-year-old James Patterson lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle then lost control and traveled off-road and overturned, coming to rest on its side.
Patterson was taken from the scene of the accident to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. A report from the Arkansas State Police says he was later cited for not wearing a seat belt and careless driving.
