(Mountain Grove) – A Mountain Grove woman suffered minor injuries on Tuesday after a one-vehicle accident that happened near her hometown.
The accident happened on Highway M northwest of Mountain Grove at 3:10 PM, when the vehicle driven by 36-year-old Sheila Duke traveled off-road and overturned after trying to avoid hitting a dog.
Duke was taken from the scene of the accident to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston by Mercy Ambulance.
