(Willow Springs) – Two Willow Springs residents were injured on Sunday afternoon after a one-vehicle accident on Highway 63.
A report from Troop G of the Highway Patrol says that the accident occurred at 2:27 PM roughly 200 feet from the intersection of 63 and Route P, when the southbound vehicle driven by 54-year-old Lydia Babione ran off-road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road, struck a road sign and overturned.
Both Babione and 54-year-old Thomas Houghgaling of Willow Springs were taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains with moderate injuries.
