(Little Rock) – A man from Nebraska has died of injuries sustained after after a motorcycle accident that occurred Sunday in Izard County, Arkansas.
Trooper Angela Dewitt of the Arkansas State Police says 55-year-old Michel Johnson of Waterloo, NE died Wednesday at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock.
The accident happened at 6:41 PM Sunday in the 11000th block of State Highway 9 when Johnson attempted to avoid a collision with a biker in front of him, 51-year-old James Demmon of Ottumwa, IA, who had lost control of his bike. Johnson lost control of his bike and sustained injuries.
Demmon was transported from the scene of the accident to Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, AR.
