(Little Rock) – With the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the constitutionality of the mandate of the Affordable Care Act last month, the state of Arkansas wants to remind people of a new initiative that they have entered into with healthcare providers in the state – the Comprehensive Primary Care (CPC) initiative is a multi-payer initiative fostering collaboration between public and private health care payers to strengthen primary care and reduce costs.

He continued and said that the changes will be implemented over the next few years:

Selig says that both he and Gov. Mike Beebe hope that the changes will inspire other states to follow in Arkansas’ footsteps.
