(Willow Springs) – A total of 25 arrests and 28 warnings were issued in conjunction with a hazardous moving violations/S.T.E.P. operation conducted in Texas County on June 29. The operation was conducted on U.S. Highway 60 and U.S. Highway 63. Totals from this enforcement effort include:

18 — Speed summonses

1 — Driving while revoked/driving while suspended summons

1 — No driver’s license summons

1 — Non-moving violation summons

4 — Seat belt summonses

Captain Dewayne Isringhausen says that motorists traveling on Missouri’s roadways need to always pay attention while driving, and that they should wear seat belts at all times.
