(Springfield) – Senator Claire McCaskill visited Springfield on Tuesday as part of her week long, statewide “In Our Town, On Our Side” RV tour, where she hosted the opening of the Missouri Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign office. At the office opening, Claire expressed her thanks to the volunteers who have already committed time to party.
At the event, Claire said she was the “clear choice” for Missouri, citing her often-touted fight against special interests groups as well as her own party to find the best solutions for Missouri. The stop in Springfield kicked off day four of Claire’s week long “In Our Town, On Our Side” RV tour. During the tour, Claire will meet with Missourians, visit small businesses, thank volunteers and supporters for their hard work and open several of the Missouri Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign Offices. Over the course of the week, Claire will visit 24 Missouri communities and all four corners of the state.
After the Springfield office opening, Claire visited Lebanon to meet with constituents at Cowan Civic Center.
