(West Plains) – The Missouri Legislature has discussed but has never passed legislation requiring residents to have a prescription to purchase medicine containing pseudoephedrine. West Plains City Clerk and Public Relations Director Mallory Thompson says the issue may be on this month’s council meeting agenda as a result of a presentation at last month’s meeting:

West Plains city hall will be closed on Wednesday for the fourth of July and residential trash scheduled to be picked up on Wednesday will instead be collected on Thursday of this week.
