(Sikeston) – MoDOT will be working throughout the area this holiday week in an abbreviated schedule.
Shannon County
Route MM in Shannon County from Route 99 to Route T will be reduced to one lane as crews partially overlay the roadway Monday, June 25 through Thursday, June 28 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Route WW, from Route 17 in Texas County to the end of state maintenance in Shannon County, will be reduced to one lane as crews continue to perform drainage work. Work will take place Monday, July 2 through Thursday, July 5 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Texas County
Westbound Highway 60 in Texas County, 1 mile east of Route MM and 2 miles west of Route 181, will be reduced to one lane as crews partially overlay the roadway, crossover and approach Monday, July 2 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Oregon County
Route E in Oregon County, from Route 19 to Route 142, will be reduced to one lane as crews partially overlay the roadway Monday, July 2 through Tuesday, July 3 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zones will be marked with signs and motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the areas.
