(Springfield) – The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a heat advisory for a large part of the Ozarks from 1 PM Thursday to 7 PM Saturday.
Temperatures for the next few days are expected to be in the mid-to-upper 90s, with Thursday and Friday expected to be over 100 degrees. Mix that with humid conditions, and normal routine outdoor activities will become dangerous.
