(Springfield) – A soldier stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood received a 15-year federal prison sentence on Thursday of last week for producing child pornography.
36-year-old Lawrence Ellrick will also be on supervised release for the rest of his life after he leaves prison.
Last December 15, Ellrick pleaded guilty to the sexual exploitation of a child. Ellrick admitted he used a female minor to produce child pornography between January 1 and May 31, 2010.
Ellrick forfeited to the government a computer hard drive, a laptop computer, a desktop computer and a digital camera, all of which were used to commit the offenses.
The US Army and Immigration and Customs Enforcement office investigated the incident.
