(Licking) – Intercounty Electric Cooperative will be holding their 76th Annual Member’s Meeting Friday, June 29 starting at 10 AM at the Licking City Park.
At the meeting, cooperative members will have the opportunity to vote for a member to represent them as a director of the Intercounty Electric Cooperative board. Three directors will be elected during the annual meeting, serving three-year terms each. Voting can be done at the annual meeting, by proxy or by mail. Officials say that a three-percent rate increase was needed and implemented in April, and that Capital Credits, if the co-op’s financial condition permits, will be paid back to patrons in October.
Other attractions during the annual meeting day are the craft fair, Texas County Memorial Hospital Health Fair from 8 AM to 12 PM, and prizes throughout the day. Barbeque will be served to all members and their guests at 11:30 AM. The Harpers, a bluegrass/gospel group, Bunker, will provide musical entertainment from 9 AM to 1 PM.
