(Thayer) – Candidates for public office in Oregon County are invited to attend an old-fashioned “Meet the Candidates” Town Hall meeting Monday, July 9 at the Oregon County Country Music Theater in Thayer. The event is scheduled to run from 7-9 PM.
All candidates with challengers, both Republican and Democrat, are invited to participate. Each candidate will be allocated a set number of minutes to speak and will take questions from the public. Candidates for statewide office as well as county wide office are expected to attend.
There is no cost to attend the meeting, and door prizes will be available to those that do attend.
