(Flippin) – A Mountain Home man has been arrested and charged after a joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and 14th Judicial Drug Task Force.
25-year-old Corey Saylor of Mountain Home was arrested June 12 and charged with Criminal Attempt to Possess Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Morphine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, a Class C Felony.
A press release from the police department states that a package being delivered to Saylor containing cash and methamphetamine with a street value near $14,000, was intercepted by law enforcement. Undercover officers posing as a package deliverymen made contact with Saylor and made arrangements for him to meet to pick the package up. Saylor arrived and was taken into custody by officers without incident. During the course of the arrest officers located an amount of methamphetamine, morphine, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle Saylor was traveling in.
Bond for Saylor was set at $50,000.
