(Rolla) – U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman says a common theme she hears as she campaigns around the state has to do with the economy. She talked with Ozark Radio News, and says individuals and businesses alike are just taking a wait and see attitude so the economy remains stagnant. The Rolla native says we need to get back to economic basics:

Steelman is seeking the Republican nomination to go up against current U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill in November. Steelman faces businessman John Brunner and Congressman Todd Akin in the August Republican primary.
