(West Plains) – There will be a changing of the guard in the city of West Plains next week as public information officer Laurel Thompson steps down and city clerk Mallory Thompson adds another area of responsibility to her duties:

The official change over will happen next week with Laurel’s last day June 26. Mallory Thompson will continue the city’s weekly radio show on Ozark Regional Newstalk Radio Monday mornings in the 8 AM hour followed by an appearance on KUKU 100.3 FM.
