(Squires) – A man from Ava died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle accident near Squires.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated 61-year-old Roger Will of Ava was driving northbound on Route 5 when he traveled off-road and overturned just before 9 PM. Will was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava by Cox EMS.
Will’s death marks fatality number 16 for Troop G of the Highway Patrol for 2012, compared to 14 at this time last year.
