(Springfield) – The annual MDA Lock-Up benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be held in West Plains on June 25.

MDA Greater Ozarks Chapter Executive Director Jerry Bear says that the regional MDA is once again looking forward to coming to West Plains:

He added that the money raised stays local and helps those suffering from Muscular Dystrophy, and help those searching for a cure:

Since 1957, the Greater Ozarks Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association has worked to find a cure for MD, and currently participates in the world-wide research program supporting research grants at Washington University in St. Louis and University of Kansas, as well as other important projects across the United States.
